Educated at Louisiana State University, University of South Carolina, and Duke University Medical Center, Dr. Sotile is a former faculty member at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He and Mary co-direct Sotile Psychological Associates and Real Talk, Inc., in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He also serves as Director of Psychological Services at the Wake Forest University Healthy Exercise and Lifestyle Programs and as Special Consultant in Behavioral Health to the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. Dr. Sotile serves on the editorial advisory panels of several leading professional journals. He is an Approved Supervisor in the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy and a Fellow in the American Association for Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Dr. Sotile has received lifetime achievement awards from the American Academy of Medical Administrators and the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
